About Kiran Ahmed.
Kiran Ahmed, MA, LPC received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Minor is Sociology from the University of Houston. She later attended Prairie View A&M and received her Masters of Arts degree in Counseling. Kiran is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has been working in the mental health and substance abuse field for about 10 years.
She has worked in both inpatient hospitals and outpatient settings doing person-centered individual and group therapy. Kiran has experience working with all demographics including children, adolescents, adults and families that struggle with many different issues, including depression, anxiety, bipolar, stress management, grief, trauma, abuse, family conflict, relationship issues, anger management, behavioral problems and other mental health concerns.
