Everett Uhl left a corporate marketing career to earn a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from East Carolina University. Early clinical experience included hospital-based trauma work at ECU Health (stroke and amputation recovery) and collaboration with medical practices on diabetes and weight management, which informed a somatic, weight-inclusive (Health at Every Size) approach. She now practices online, seeing individuals and couples in DC, Virginia, and North Carolina, with focus areas in trauma/EMDR, perinatal mental health, and sex therapy. She also volunteers as a Sexual Assault Response Advocate and offers sliding-scale care to survivors of sexual violence.
