How much will I actually pay with insurance?
Most clients with in-network insurance pay only their copay, which typically ranges from $15 to $50 per session. During matching we run a real-time benefits check on your specific plan and tell you the exact dollar amount before your first session — no estimates, no surprise bills.
Which insurance plans are you in-network with?
We're in-network with most major U.S. carriers, including Aetna, Anthem and Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare / Optum, Humana, Kaiser, Magellan, and many regional plans like Quartz and Dean Health Plan. Coverage varies by therapist and state, so we always confirm with your specific plan during matching.
What if my plan isn't in-network?
You can still see any ThriveTalk therapist at our self-pay rate. We'll provide a monthly itemized superbill you can submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement, which often covers 40–70% of the session fee.
Do you accept HSA, FSA, or HRA cards?
Yes. Therapy is a qualified medical expense, and ThriveTalk sessions can be paid for with HSA, FSA, or HRA cards. We provide receipts coded for healthcare reimbursement.
Are there any subscription or membership fees?
No. ThriveTalk is pay-per-session — you're never locked into a subscription, and there's no monthly fee on top of your session cost. Pause or stop care anytime.
What's your cancellation policy?
Sessions cancelled at least 24 hours in advance are free. Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged the full self-pay rate, since insurance can't be billed for missed sessions. Your therapist will go over their specific policy at intake.
