Trust & Safety

Accessibility Statement

Mental healthcare needs to be reachable by everyone. We design and build ThriveTalk so the website, the matching flow, and our telehealth tools work for people who use assistive technology.

Our commitment

ThriveTalk is committed to providing a website and digital experience that conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). We treat accessibility as a feature, not an afterthought.

What we do

  • Design with sufficient color contrast, scalable type, and a visible keyboard focus indicator.
  • Build with semantic HTML, ARIA where appropriate, descriptive link text, and alt text for meaningful images.
  • Test with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA), keyboard-only navigation, and 200% browser zoom on every release.
  • Caption and transcribe video content we produce, and offer phone-based intake for clients who prefer not to use the web form.

Known issues

Some third-party content embedded on our site (e.g. Google Maps tiles, video players) may not yet meet our internal accessibility bar. We are tracking each known gap and replacing or supplementing those components.

Reporting a barrier

If you encounter a page, feature, or document on ThriveTalk that is difficult to use with assistive technology, please tell us. Email accessibility@thrivetalk.com with the URL, the assistive technology you’re using, and a short description of what didn’t work. We respond within 5 business days and will work with you on an accessible alternative while we fix the issue.

Format requests

We can provide intake materials, billing statements, and other account documents in large print, electronic text, or by phone read-back on request. Email the address above or contact your clinician directly.
